Reduce image file size with a quality slider, presets and an optional target size.
How to use
Use the quality slider or a preset. For a target size, the tool tests several quality levels and keeps the best one that fits.
Settings and limitations
Lower quality means smaller files but more visible artifacts. PNG is lossless-style and ignores the quality setting, so choose WebP or JPG for big savings. Some images cannot reach a very small target without clear damage; the tool tells you when that happens. Results are never exact to the byte.
Limits: 25 MB and 50 megapixels per image.
Troubleshooting
If a file is rejected, check that it is a real JPG, PNG or WebP and not damaged. If a large batch is slow, process fewer files at once.
FAQs
Why did my file get bigger?
Already well-optimized files can grow when re-encoded. The tool warns you; keep the original in that case.
Is transparency kept?
Yes for PNG and WebP output. JPG cannot store transparency.
